T. M. Ravi is Managing Director and co-founder of The Hive – a studio to co-create, fund and launch AI-powered enterprise startups. Ravi has been a pioneer as an investor and co-creator of startups that apply AI in the enterprise. The Hive engages with entrepreneurs and corporations to create companies focused on data and AI driven applications in the enterprise and industry segments such as financial services, insurance, and health.

Ravi has a successful track record as a serial entrepreneur and operating executive. He has started over 25 startups including three where he was founder & CEO: Mimosa Systems, Peakstone Corporation, and Media Blitz. Mimosa was acquired by Iron Mountain and Media Blitz was acquired eventually by Computer Associates (CA) for $1.2B. Ravi was also CMO for Iron Mountain, VP of Marketing at Computer Associates (CA) and VP at Cheyenne Software. Ravi earned an MS and Ph.D. from UCLA and a Bachelors of Technology from IIT, Kanpur, India. He is on the board of Montalvo Art Center.

Sumant Mandal is Managing Director and co-founder of The Hive – a studio to co-create, fund and launch AI-powered enterprise startups. Sumant is also Managing Director and co-founder of LA-based March Capital Partners. He has been part of incubating more than 25 companies. Sumant leads investments in Cloud Computing, IoT, AI/ML, and Network Infrastructure as well as companies supporting the Indian market.

In his nearly two decades of venture capital, Sumant has generated multiple meaningful exits in companies he has either incubated or been the first institutional investor. In 2000, Sumant joined Clearstone Venture Partners, where he went on to become a Managing Director four years later. Prior to Clearstone, Sumant spent more than eight years as an entrepreneur, starting companies in both India and the United States.

Sumant has an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University. He is a Charter Member of TiE.

Kamesh Raghavendra is Chief Product Officer of The Hive – a studio to co-create, fund and launches AI-powered enterprise startups. He works with entrepreneurs to address market segments in areas of privacy & security, applications, and blockchain, in the general enterprise industrials, financial services, insurance, and healthcare.

Kamesh has a deep enterprise product background from a wide spectrum of roles across marketing, product management and product strategy at NetApp. He has led multiple strategic initiatives that created products & solutions for large enterprise customers during his product management stints.

Before NetApp, Kamesh worked at Goldman Sachs on the mortgage-backed securities trading desk. Kamesh received his MBA degree from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and undergrad B.Tech. degree in Computer Science & Engg. from IIT Madras. He also dabbles in television media production for the Indian regional markets, when he finds time between his work assignments.

Mohan Reddy is the CTO of The Hive – a studio to co-create, fund and launch AI-powered enterprise startups. Mohan guides portfolio companies on AI and product development, helping them grow from a concept to a product. For over 23 years Mohan has worked at multiple companies including IBM, Schlumberger, Expedia/Travelocity and Zynga where he architected and built platforms to scale to millions of users. He specializes in Machine/Deep Learning and building scalable systems, AI and Robotics.

Mohan is very active in IEEE/ACM as a member of standards committees with numerous publications and has presented in various machine learning conferences. Mohan has a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Masters in Electrical Engineering and an MBA with specialization in Finance.

Dana Moraly is the CFO of The Hive – a studio to co-create, fund and launches AI-powered enterprise startups. Dana is also the CFO of a number of The Hive portfolio companies in their early stages. Dana is also Chief Financial for March Capital (formerly Clearstone Venture Partners) for over 15 years.

Previously, Dana was responsible for overseeing the finance and operations of seven international private equity funds at Trust Company of the West. She was also Senior Manager of M&A at Price Waterhouse Coopers and Senior Auditor with Deloitte & Touche.

Matti Watt is the Senior Manager of People and Programs at The Hive – a studio to co-create, fund and launch AI powered enterprise startups. Matti manages all operations for The Hive, supports The Hive Think Tank, and applies her M.S. in Organizational & Consumer Psychology to help enrich The Hive’s environment.

Rita Cardenas is the Accountants at The Hive – a studio to co-create, fund and launch AI powered enterprise startups. Rita is also the Accountant for a number of The Hive portfolio companies in their early stages. Rita has been with March Capital Partners and previously Clearstone Venture Partners for over 15 years.
